It is stopped because of a dependency:

pngquant (2.8.2-1) UNRELEASED; urgency=medium

  TODO: * Needs packaging of
            https://github.com/ImageOptim/libimagequant
          (but no new packages for Stretch ...)
        * check whether CVE-2016-5735 is fixed in latest upstream
  * New upstream version
  * Upstream moved source to Github
  * cme fix dpkg-control
  * debhelper 10


I can send an ITP and try to do the Debian package if
that helps.
