Hi folks,

Thanks for accepting me into the team.  Before I do any further harm:
does anybody object against merging the upstream git history into the
upstream branch of libgphoto2?  I've already pushed that (but not
master) to Salsa so you can see there what I mean.  Basically, I did

$ gbp import-orig --upstream-vcs-tag=v2.5.24 --uscan

This helps with finding and moving patches to or from upstream in my
experience, but I don't want to needlessly disrupt the team workflow.
