I did see it, but not sure how best to respond (and I don't really want to get deeply involved in this).

I still think it's imagemagick's fault for including assert.h inside a namespace and hence breaking other users of the
header, even if it happens to work on some other distros (which presumably have slightly different header interdependencies).
