You might like to try convincing ftpmaster that continuous nitpicking[2]
is not helpful for our users.  I volunteered to salvage an absolutely
unmaintained package but I did not volunteer to loose my nerves
completely.  Thus I took some weeks off and might have another look to
this unfortunate package which is full of different contributors which
seems to conflict with ftpmasters perception of what should be in our
distribution and what not by ignoring that what is currently in Debian
is way worse than what I uploaded to new.

I'll check this once I find some time for this package - chances are
good that it was by mistake.  Feel free to commit fixes / MRs.
