Well, actually I had to rebuild OpenImageIO against OpenEXR v3 (and
disabling OpenVDB as well) before getting over the point where your
build failed (and I was able to rebuild only today due to work
priority).

It's clear that now I need to start the transition for OpenImageIO
before getting OCIO to build without hackery.

Gonna keep you updated on my progress.
