That would be a shame since this is some unique feature of fotocx I've
not seen in Free Software so far and actually my motivation to work on
fotocx inside Debian.

Sounds pretty unfortunate.

Perfectly understandable.

I need to admit I've just realised this in connection with the fotoxx
removal.  It was not my decision and I can't comment on this.
