I think you should add an override for this (with a comment to the
bug). I would have done myself and uploaded it but then I noticed the
short description: "Mail_Mime provides classes to create MIME messages".

I understand this is less work to automatically extract description from
the upstream package but this also means suboptimal description. In this
case, the description starts with the name of the package. Also, the
long description seems to miss a paragraph break. I think if upstream
description is not of the required quality, the macros should not be
used. I don't know if this has already been discussed on the list. Maybe
people on debian-l10n-english at ldo could also have some insights on this.
