Hi Thomas (sorry for the explicit copy, to make sure you don’t miss this
one among the current similar flood),

php-net-portscan and php-text-password are among the PEAR packages that
should be converted to pkg-php-tools [1]. I’d like to take this
opportunity to encourage you to handle their packaging under the Debian
PHP Group umbrella [2], and move their repositories under git/pkg-php on
Alioth [3] (at first sight, these packages do not seem maintain in a
VCS, can you please point me to them if I’m mistaken).

If you’d agree on the principle, but don’t have time to take care of
that yourself, I (or someone else from the team) would be happy to do so
on your behalf.

	2: http://pkg-php.alioth.debian.org/
	3: http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?a=project_list;pf=pkg-php

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Regards

David

P.-S.: If I’m not missing something, all remaining packages in the TODO
list [1] that have not yet been acted upon are part of the ongoing
testing transition known as php5.5, except php-doc. About php-doc, is
Lior Kaplan following the list (IIUC, he is one of the php5 maintainer,
so I’d assume there are links between the PHP PEAR team and the PHP one)?
