Short rules were introduced with dh 7 IIRC, but thanks for your
explanations (and the other ones). There is probably no need to change
existing packages just for that, but for new packages, andrea, please
use dh 9 (as php-symfony-routing already does).

I agree, and would welcome some help to extend the php-symfony-routing
one too (maybe a good night sleep will help…)

Thomas, this is not a PEAR package, but a Composer one, so maybe those
advices are erroneous.
