Hi Niels,
I was expecting this kind of answer. I do agree with all of your comments.
FYI, the "just go and and do it" part has been largely done, and we also
pushed every PEAR package maintainer to have their package in the team,
and maintained using Git. Mathieu, Prach and David did a lot of work on
that direction, and I would like to send them a big thanks for their
work (I am unfortunately too busy with OpenStack to be able to help).
I also would like to send my encouragements so that it continues, and
ultimately, would love to see all PEAR packages using Git, maintained
within the team, and pkg-php-tools.
