I definitely intend to put Silex under the umbrella of the PHP PEAR
Maintainers team. I guess I should have mentioned that in the ITP (and
CC pkg-php-pear).

I saw you just opened an ITP for Pimple. Thanks a lot for that. I did
not check which other dependencies are missing for Silex in Debian. But
I think there is an ongoing effort to package Symfony2 components for
Debian and I would be willing to join.
