Short answer: no, not as long as they are not actually needed.
Longer answer:
Some already made it in the mean time (e.g, php-depend and php-pmd as
pdepend and phpmd, the names will be fixed in the next phing upload, and
provides are used in the mean time), but I only intend to upload (or
help in uploading) the other ones in case they are actually useful: some
phing features may not be used as a start, so I don’t believe a
proactive approach is needed here.
Some PHP-related packages provide a build.xml file that is aimed to be
used by phing (and not Ant) as part of the build process, that’s why I
believe this tool will be useful in Debian. Once it will actually be in
used, we should have a clearer view of recommended packages that will be
useful.
