Right, it’s the second time I got bit by this issue in Wheezy…

Already opened: https://github.com/symfony/symfony/pull/13578

We may:
1) wait for the next upstream release with this patch
2) wait for ftp-master.d.o to be upgraded to Jessie
3) drop the patch and not care about the execution bit for the moment
4) drop the patch and chmod in d/rules (e.g., via dh_fixperms)
5) something else…

IMHO, 4 isn’t worth it (assuming it will be fixed upstream at some point
before Stretch), 1, 2 and 3 are fine by me (I’d head up to 3 if I want
symfony 2.6 in the archive ASAP, but can be convinced to go with 4 instead).
