Not at the moment but I was planning to re-enable use of system "php-
services-json"...

I don't insist on it. If CiviCRM is the only user of "php-services-json" then 
I'm not sure if the latter worth maintaining in its own package.

I'm afraid I have no capacity to do that... :(

Eventually I might help PHP team a little if I can...
