Source: composer
Version: 1.4.3-2
Severity: important
User: ubuntu-devel at lists.ubuntu.com
Usertags: origin-ubuntu artful autopkgtest

Hi David,

The autopkgtests for composer 1.4.3-2 have been failing since upload,
despite the fact that they previously passed in version 1.2.2-1:

  https://ci.debian.net/packages/c/composer/unstable/amd64/

I noticed this because they are also failing in Ubuntu, though with
different error output:

  http://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/packages/c/composer/artful/amd64

Unfortunately Debian does not consider a regressed autopkgtest a blocker for
testing (which would be useful to help us improve the quality of the
release), but Ubuntu does; so this regression will block the new version of
composer from inclusion in the next Ubuntu release until fixed.

I have not analyzed the failures to understand if they point to bugs in the
test or bugs in the code, so I am filing this bug report at severity:
important; but if this is a bug in the code, perhaps it should be raised to
grave.

Cheers,
