Well, something is weird here : version 1.22.0 is indeed in
(binary-)NEW, targeted to experimental, and I understand that my
previous upload was rejected because the 1.22.0 upstream tarball “is
only available in NEW” (even if I would have preferred being allowed to
upload the upstream tarball to unstable after building my package with
-sa without the new component, but that didn’t fly).

But version 1.22.0~ (note the extra tilde) being refused because a newer
version is in NEW seems like a bug. Should that be reported or is it an
expected behavior I’m failing to understand?

In the mean time, if the NEW binary package could be accepted, I’d be
happy to stop trying to upload a truncated new version ;).

Regards

David
