Unfortunately, you also need to bump binary packages version. This 
revert got rejected:

$ ssh coccia.debian.org cat 
/srv/ftp-master.debian.org/queue/reject/php-defaults_87_all-buildd.changes.reason

Version check failed:
Your upload included the binary package libapache2-mod-php, version 
2:7.4+87, for all,
however unstable already has version 2:8.1+85.
Uploads to unstable must have a higher version than present in unstable.
