It seems php-db was incompatible with the PHP version in Buster at the
time of its release. php-log was removed because it depended on
php-db. [1,2]

I doubt there'll be any official backports, especially now that
Bullseye is the new stable. However, you could probably backport the
version from Bullseye fairly easily for your own use.
