I see no activity and no bug reports. Can somebody please update these 
packages or file appropriate bugs?

I also see some autopkgtest regressions which have this (eg. [1, 2]):

where should that get fixed?

While we're waiting for php-redis in NEW, can we have a version of 
php-redis that doesn't need to pass NEW?

Looking at the regression caused by php-apcu in symfony [3], are we 
missing some versioned dependency tracking somewhere (or a versioned 
breaks)?
