[pkg-php-pear] Bug#1032919: shaarli: default install does not enable required apache2 mod rewrite

I installed a fresh shaarli and did browse the /shaarli URL and got an error 500.

[Tue Mar 14 03:09:22.981534 2023] [core:alert] [pid 21889] [client xx.xx.xx.xx:42960] /usr/share/shaarli/.htaccess: Invalid command 'RewriteEngine', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration

I had to run: sudo a2enmod rewrite and restart apache2 to get a normal HTML web page.
