I raised this bug report pretty late in the release cycle, and the 
package is not yet removed from testing (it was marked for autoremoval 
on 17 February before the current activity in this bug report). My gut 
feeling is we should wait again a few months (two at most given the 
freeze schedule), and give people a chance to notice the removal from 
testing so they can object to the removal. That way, we can quickly 
close this bug report, and get back the package into Trixie within a day 
if we need it (and also upload it with the proposed improvements after 
that). If the package is still out of testing by 2025-04-15 (start of 
the Soft Freeze, where re-entry to testing are impossible), we could get 
it removed from unstable too.
