Ups, sorry, I did not parsed the highlighted line on that page...

Yes, so lets remove it.  My failure to simply compare version numbers
and dates.

The salvaging team is in CC for the only reason that the package came up
as a Bug of the Day candidate.  We *also* care for RoQA bugs if we see
a package does not make any sense.

Not at all.  Its just in some unclear status.  If it is useless we
volunteer to file RoQA bugs.  I simply wanted to backup your statement
since if ftpmaster realises there is a statement "not maintained" and
next to it a release from 2024 they feel their time wasted.  I realised
I should have read that page from top.  Sorry about wasting your time.
