Dear maintainer(s),

I just had to kill an autopkgtest run of your package because the system
was about to run out of memory on our ci.d.n infrastructure. After the
kill there was 220GiB extra free memory available. Not all runs seem to
using that amount, and most runs seem to also finish much quicker, so I
suspect a race condition where both execution time takes longer and
memory consumption goes haywire. The test also seems to be rather flaky
on, not only on ppc64el.

Now there's an argument to make that the infra should protect itself
against this kind of misbehavior, but currently it doesn't (we're
working on that). I would appreciate it if you can find a way to ensure
the test behaves.

Paul
