hey folks--
today i did some upstream and debian packaging work on the monkeysphere
project. It was already on salsa in the pkg-privacy-team repos
(https://salsa.debian.org/pkg-privacy-team/monkeysphere), and the
previous maintainer (jrollins, cc'ed here) suggested that he isn't up
for being the official maintainer any longer, so i moved the official
maintainer to pkg-privacy-team.
Anarcat (also cc'ed here) has also volunteered to be an uploader for
this package, so we have at least 3 people capable of handling it
(though i know we all welcome more help if anyone has the cycles).
This upload (0.42-1) closes a bunch of outstanding bugs in monkeysphere,
so hopefully it will get the package back into debian testing.
just wanted to give a heads-up. If there are any objections, i'm fine
with removing monkeysphere from pkg-privacy-team maintainership, but i
figured since the repo was already set up i'd go ahead with it.
All the best,
--dkg
