This rang a bell so here's a tl;dr for history afficionad at s:

Last time we discussed this¹, it was clear that obfsproxy was
obsolete, but fteproxy was blocking the removal; since then, fteproxy
got removed from testing and sid, and according to dak² there's no
blocker anymore :)
