Thanks a lot. I managed to get it working, I was only missing the
dh-autoreconf package.

Anyway, I guess that the workflow stays mostly the same and the rest of the
whole gbp framework with upstream branches&tags&so simply doesn't get used
here, is it right? At least gbp-dch and similar tools kindof refuse to work
without related branchwork.

I'm going to reupload the package to mentors.d.o asap so people can look at
it. Is there any suggested next step for the sponsor-searching process?
