[Pkg-privacy-maintainers] [help] Removing package from

Hi all,

I'm reaching out to you as a Debian guy who's somewhat lost in
Ubuntu world.

For a month we've been trying to make it so Xenial does not include
the tails-installer package: with both our upstream developers and
Debian maintainers hats, we're not ready to maintain it in a LTS
distro yet, so better not mislead users.

We were told it would be enough to create a bug with the
sync-blacklist tag, and we did that:

  https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tails-installer/+bug/1544207

... but apparently this wasn't enough.

Could one of you folks please give us a hand, e.g. by pointing us to
whatever online resource we may have missed, that would allow us to do
it the right way, or by poking the right people if it's all that
is required?

Cheers,
