They do!

autopkgtests pass for me in the qemu runner except that one:

Any idea what's going on?

(In passing: if these tests can be run outside of the autopkgtests
framework without too much effort, perhaps we could contribute them
upstream, so they can evolve at the same time as the code they're
exercising? No hurry, let's get the tests uploaded to unstable first.)
