IMO it's not worth writing tests with another framework if we're going
to have that one working $soon (e.g. before the Stretch freeze).
Anyone interested can already write the Gherkin test scenarios (the
user-friendly side of Cucumber tests) right now, even though the
corresponding step definitions can't be written yet :)
