Hi all,

I dunno if it's late in the day to be sharing about this or not but
saw this in my inbox recently. It was held recently in Ongario which
if memory serves correctly is nearby to montreal (2-3 hours by train).
If somebody can reach out to the ooni people maybe this might bring
awareness about the the project. I am ccing the
pkd-privacy-maintainers as well as they also have similar goals so
it's possible somebody from that team could reach out and either do a
small eventish or give a talk or two together.

Hi Oonitarians,

Two weeks ago we hosted the*first OONI Partner Gathering*! :)

The event was hosted at the University of Toronto on 10th & 11th July 2017.

The aim of this two-day event was to bring our international partners
together to share skills, knowledge, and research findings. We reflected
on our collaboration over the last year, and we brainstormed on future
goals and priorities to improve our collaboration on the study of
internet censorship.

Today we published a report which provides an overview of the event, its
sessions, partner challenges and needs, future goals and priorities, and
event outcomes.
