I wrote a program to facilitate the migration which you might want to
use.

It's been tested by a few people and myself, and seems to work well. You
can even batch-loop things through it and shove the results in a logfile
(whooo, super modern).

As far as I know, there's an effort to keep the Alioth mailing lists
running on a new host, so maybe there's nothing to do regarding this
very list. Email diffs should be followed through the GitLab web
interface, from what I understand.
