Bug#613003: Major regressions in proftpd-basic: DisplayReadme, DirFakeUser, DirFakeGroup, DirFakeMode, HideUser, HideGroup, HideNoAccess do not work

Further to my previous e-mails about regressions in the ProFTPD package:

I have backported the current Debian package, 1.3.3d-3, to Debian Squeeze
(essentially, the only change necessary was in debian/control: change the
dependency "libcap-dev [linux-any]" to "libcap-dev" to allow recompilation
under Debian Squeeze).

Unfortunately, the previously listed problems with DisplayReadme,
DirFakeUser, DirFakeGroup, DirFakeMode, HideUser, HideGroup and
HideNoAccess are still present in this version (1.3.3d-3) of ProFTPD.

Still investigating...

Yours truly,

John Zaitseff
