[Bug 2047053] [NEW] proftpd-1.3.7c and openssl 3.x

Hi,

according the description of Bug #1975567 you already fixed the issue
with proftpd-1.3.7c.

Today, 20 December 2023 the proftpd-1.3.7c is still distributed via the
ubuntu repositories.

I have tested the last 2 days already proftpd-1.3.8a without knowing
that this issue is already known.

Due to the fact that this upgrade to 1.3.7e is not yet distributed.

Would you please upgrade the ubuntu repositories to 1.3.8a due to the
fact that further issue with openssl 3.x are fixed in this version.
