[Pkg-pulseaudio-devel] Bug#523389: pulseaudio: Stuttering during first seconds of playback

When playing an audio or video file with vlc, totem or a phonon based
app (amarok 2 or dragonplayer) using the xine backend, the first
couple of seconds are obscured by stuttering. Afterwards, there are no
more glitches. The problem does not occur when using mplayer, but
happens both with my internal HDA Intel and my external USB soundcard.

A similar problem has been reported in the Fedora Bugzilla:

This problem was, if I remember correctly, not present in version 9.13
