Unfortunately, neither solves this issue. Attached is again the output
of pulseaudio -vvv , but it shows no more useful information than the
previous run.

Side note: the number of PA sinks does not match the number of playback
devices reported by alsa. This card *is* capable of using all three
devices simultaneously (hw:0,0 8-channel In and Out, hw:0,1 2-channel
s/pdif In and Out, hw:0,2 2-channel Out).
