[Pkg-pulseaudio-devel] Bug#551498: /usr/bin/pulseaudio: Pulse/udev doesn't find my sound card

Pulse cannot find my sound card, and I'm not getting any sound :-(.  pavucontrol lists only the virtual dummy device, and no hardware devices at all.

Here's what I get when I start pulseaudio:
