Bug#622235: module-x11-bell: lacking documentation

Package: pulseaudio-module-x11
Version: 0.9.21-3+squeeze1
Severity: minor
the bell module works very well, but has one undocumented feature/quirk
that i believe needs to be added to the documentation somewhere
(and upstream as well):
the volume for the bell sample is controlled only by the x11 bell setting
(xset b), and not the "system sounds" defaults (as shown by pavucontrol).
pactl list shows the relevant sample properly tagged as "media.role=event"
and when one plays stuff with this property with
paplay --property=media.role=event ...whatever...
then the volume is set to the system sounds default. that's recommended
upstream for "short event sounds"
(see <URL:http://pulseaudio.org/wiki/PerfectSetup#Pidginandotherappswithshorteventsounds>).
one would expect that module-x11-bell would use that default volume, too,
but it doesn't.

az
