guruprasad at kal-el:~$ journalctl -b /usr/bin/pulseaudio
No journal files were found.

guruprasad at kal-el:~$ ls ~/.config/pulse/

guruprasad at kal-el:~$ cat ~/.config/pulse/client.conf
autospawn = no

One weird thing I noticed is, the sound icon shows up in the
notification area in the login screen and when I move the volume level,
I hear the pop sound. But after login and once the desktop is ready for
use, it is gone and doesn't work till I kill and restart pulse.

Hope this helps.

Thanks & Regards,
Guruprasad
