Bug#888022: pulseaudio: Pulseaudio on Google Docs Speech Recognition works with wrong settings

Susan Cragin susancragin at earthlink.net
Mon Jan 22 17:55:14 UTC 2018

Package: pulseaudio
Version: 11.1-4
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Pulseaudio does not play well with Google Docs and speech recognition.
I have fiddled with settings and it now works a bit with Input Device Microphone (unplugged).
Why should it work with that, and not "internal microphone"?
I have an older computer and after fiddling for a long time I got it to work very well, but I can't figure it out again.
