2021-08-22 | PulseAudio unmet dependency on Debian SID

Please configure the PulseAudio package on Sid to use version "7:4.4-5" of
libavutil56, opposed to version "7:4.3.2-0+deb11u2".
Currently, anyone who pushes the latest Sid dist-upgrade (at the time this
email was sent) will have PulseAudio uninstalled by the package manager
(apt-get).
Attempting to reinstall PulseAudio through the package manager will just
result in this error prompt:


*The following packages have unmet dependencies: libavresample4 : Depends:
libavutil56 (= 7:4.3.2-0+deb11u2) but 7:4.4-5 is to be installedE: Unable
to correct problems, you have held broken packages.*
