This still happens with pipewire 1.2.1-1 in Unstable.

After using the system for a while and presumably pipewire has done some audio 
stuff other audio methods won't work.

The following works:
mpv $FILE -ao pipewire

The following plays the video with no sound:
mpv $FILE -ao pulse

The following hangs due to blocking on sound:
mpv $FILE -ao alsa

When I try to visit a YouTube page in Chrome it hangs so presumably Chrome 
uses alsa.
