ugh. "upgrade from 1.3.5 to 1.5.1 " that's a veritable lifetime ....

What's the normal Debian level of support of situations like this
where someone is backporting lenny packages to etch?

This is a pretty undesirable situation, but I'm not sure it's worth
more than perhaps calling it out in the news ?
