so if I'm reading this correctly, we should revert the vendor_ruby
change for facter as it's targeted for post-squeeze?

Hi,

The move of ruby libraries to vendor_ruby has been discussed in the
past, and is on the list of things that are likely to be changed when/if
we have a big transition to change many things in ruby packaging (inc. a
simpler way to package 1.8 and 1.9.X libraries together).

That's not going to happen before squeeze, though.
