Yay.  That's really helpful. :)

I've just made a branch for the puppet-ldap package which installs the
LDAP schema needed to have your nodes in LDAP.

It supports classes, variables and inheritance from a parent node
definition, but it looks like a tiny bit of schema work is needed to
support the new parameterized classes supported in 2.6.0.
