To explain why I didn't send this straight to pkg-puppet-devel first
.... I simply wasn't quite sure of myself, being a relative noob when
it comes to Debian/Ubuntu packaging politics, so I pinged Mathias and
Micah directly.
How do we all feel about this? I'd love to see us combine efforts.

Sorry for not replying earlier.
In a nutshell I'm all for collaborating with Debian to maintain the puppet
packages.
