Hi,

the logrotate configuration file shipped by the puppet package is
responsible to rotate /var/log/puppet/*log; on the other hand, one can
have a working puppetmaster without any need for the puppet package
(neither functionally nor as per dependencies rules).

So I have a puppetmaster host with an ever growing
/var/log/puppet/masterhttp.log.
