reopen 593125 !
severity 593125 important
thanks

I've been having an interesting amount of extra work, as puppet started
zeroing the files it was supposed to update. I've been running the
squeeze version of puppetmaster in a lenny machine with the minimum possible
number of packages from squeeze. Using apache to share the load against 4
puppetmaster instances.

The squeeze clients detect the changes in the fileserver but let a 0 length
file instead of the updated file.

Using the puppet version from lenny backports (0.25.4-2~bpo50+1) make the
clients to work again.
