I am getting a strange result from facter hostname, which breakes the
registration process of puppet.
when investigating with developers from the puppet irc channel, I found that the facter 1.5.7 in debian actually
contains code which i not in the official 1.5.7 for hostname (it looks like
an older version of hostname.rb.
I am going to try a newer version, but its realy misleading to have facter
1.5.7 actually running code of a different version.
