The deprecation warnings in 2.7 are the only reason anyone has made any
of the changes that are required in newer versions... and the pain of
those changes has been significant, enough that most people I know are
still not off of 2.7 because there is a lot of work left to do...
In my humble opinon, 3.0 would be better because it would give people
the chance to deal with the deprecations before getting something
completely broken as an upgrade.
Just another 'fruitbat' who isn't 'paying attention',
