I usually use this script that someone named Russ Allbery wrote to build
it in a stable cowbuilder chroot, thanks for that btw!
Since it is a security upload one must follow the instructions:

I've requested the BSA and I'm building the backport now, so I guess you
might as well wait, it should be available soon.

I dont think he has ever backported puppet, so I guess he isn't doing
